The IN-PREP Project will host its 3rd full-scale exercise (FSX) virtually from the island of Rhodes and Athens in Greece on February 4th 2020.
As with the 2nd FSX in October, the 3rd FSX will take place entirely virtually, comprising both real-world and simulated actors responding to a simulated crisis in real-time.
The scenario for the 3nd FSX will involve a road traffic incident resulting in multiple casualties. Participants will be tasked with responding to this scenario in order to collaborate an effective response.
The Covid-19 pandemic has served to shift the focus of the exercise which will demonstrate that notwithstanding current difficulties, it is still possible to increase the preparation of stakeholders for other emergency scenarios, which will still occur despite the present circumstances.
The 3rd FSX will serve as the final the exercise of the IN-PREP Project, following previous exercises in Italy, the Netherlands and Northern Ireland.
